WORLD AQUATICS STRUCTURE OVERVIEW
As for the World Aquatics Constitution, Clause 12, the following bodies are established to govern and administer World Aquatics:
- The Congress
- The Bureau
- The Executive
- The Aquatics Integrity Unit
- The Athletes Committee
- The Technical Committees
- The Specialised Committees
The World Aquatics Office shall carry out all the administrative work of World Aquatics under the direction of the Executive Director, in accordance with the policies set by the President, the Bureau and the Executive.
ROLES OF SENIOR STAFF MEMBERS OF WORLD AQUATICS
- Finance Director
The Finance Director oversees World Aquatics’ financial planning, budgeting, and reporting. They ensure transparency, compliance, and responsible use of resources across all programs.
- Marketing Director
The Marketing Director leads global promotion and brand strategy for World Aquatics. They develop campaigns, partnerships, and communication initiatives to grow visibility and engagement.
- Development and Athletes Services Director
This director manages programs that support athlete development, welfare, and pathways worldwide. They coordinate training, education, and support services to strengthen aquatic sports globally.
- Chief Sports Officer
The Chief Sports Officer oversees the management, rules, and operations of all World Aquatics disciplines. They ensure competitions run smoothly, maintain sports integrity, and support technical committees.
- (v) Director of Office Operations (Budapest)
The Director of Office Operations in Budapest manages the daily functioning of the World Aquatics headquarters. They oversee facilities, administrative processes, and staff support to ensure efficient office operations.
