Xu Huiyan of China won the most gold medals (4)

Iris Tio Casas of Spain, 22, became first artistic swimmer in history to win world championship titles in all four disciplines: solo, duet, mixed duet, and team. She made the podium in all six events she entered to claim three gold and three bronze medals in Singapore.

Aleksandr Maltsev, representing Neutral B, 30, was the most successful male athlete, winning the most gold: three (plus a silver in mixed duet free).

Dennis Gonazalez Boneu of Spain, 21, was the most decorated male athlete in Singapore, earning the most medals (1 gold, 2 silver, 2 bronze)

Five athletes won at least three gold medals: China’s Xu Huiyan, China’s Hao Chang, China’s Feng Yu, Neutral B Aleksandr Maltsev, and Spain’s Iris Tio Casas
