Both Men and Women competitions will be hosted in unique groups and every team will play against each other. Two spots are at stakes for the FINA World Championships 2022 for both Men and Women Competitions:
- Men's teams not qualified yet are Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba and Canada
- Women's teams not qualified yet are Argentina, Brazil, Cuba and Colombia
