Building on previous webinars

The Women’s Health Webinar Series was launched by World Aquatics in April 2025 with the goal of breaking the taboo around conversations on the menstrual cycle and creating supportive environments for athletes.

The first session in April drew 394 participants from across the globe. The highly interactive session featured Q&A segments and live discussions.

The second session in July welcomed nearly 250 participants, where athletes, coaches and experts explored practical strategies for understanding and managing menstrual cycle symptoms in aquatic sports. Interactive polls allowed participants to share their own experiences, highlighting the most common symptoms and when they are most impactful.

World Aquatics invites the global aquatics community to take part in this next important discussion on 23 September!
