Following the cancellation of the World Aquatics High Diving World Cup – Brasilia 2024, World Aquatics has updated the qualification process for the high diving events at the World Aquatics Championships – Singapore 2025.
Qualification
The high diving events at the World Aquatics Championships – Singapore 2025 will be open to all athletes who were approved to participate in the World Aquatics High Diving World Cup – Bahrain 2024 and/or the World Aquatics High Diving World Cup – Brasilia 2024, prior to the cancellation of the Brasilia event.
Eligibility Criteria
- Approved Athletes: Athletes who were formally approved to compete in either or both World Cup events are eligible for qualification
- Maximum Athlete Representation: Each Federation may enter a maximum of three athletes per gender
Additionally, World Aquatics reserves the right to extend wild card invitations to athletes for the Singapore 2025 Championships. Any decisions regarding wild cards will be made and communicated in due course.
Competition Format | High Diving at the World Aquatics Championships – Singapore 2025
The high diving competition schedule at the World Aquatics Championships – Singapore 2025 will differ slightly from previous event editions. Following two days of official training, there will be a four-day high diving competition schedule. The high diving competition lasted three days at previous World Aquatics Championships.

Final Scoring
The scores from the required and intermediate dives will carry over into the finals. The final score will be Dive 1, Dive 3, Dive 5, and Dive 6.
Prize Money
All top 14 finalists will receive prize money.
