World Aquatics announces Microplus Data Processing & Timing as the federation’s official timing and scoring provider for artistic swimming, open water swimming, water polo, and beach water polo.
World Aquatics has solidified its strategic alliance with Microplus, entering a three-year agreement with the leading sports events timekeeper as the federation’s official timing and scoring provider for four aquatic sports on the global stage until 2026.
Under this partnership, Microplus, headquartered in Marene, Italy with representative offices worldwide, will deliver comprehensive timekeeping and data processing across all upcoming World Aquatics events spanning artistic swimming, open water swimming, water polo, and beach water polo. From prestigious World Cups to age-group competitions, Microplus will ensure seamless execution and accuracy across all competitions.
The agreement extends a partnership that World Aquatics launched in 2022 when Microplus was entrusted as the timing and scoring provider for World Aquatics’ open water swimming competitions.
The partnership scope expanded in 2023, with Microplus providing timing, scoring and data processing services to all men’s and women’s World Aquatics Water Polo World Cup competitions, the World Aquatics Beach Games Water Polo Qualification Tournament, and the men’s and women’s World Aquatics U20 Water Polo Championships.
The year also witnessed Microplus’ stellar timing and scoring services at the World Aquatics Masters Championships held in Doha, Qatar.
