1. Team Sweden (SWE) with an amazing performance equalling the current World Record in the Women’s 4x50m Medley Relay touching the wall in 1:42.38.
2. Team Italy (ITA) taking gold in the Men’s 4x100m Medley Relay with a new Championships Record of 3:19.76.
3. Ranomi Kromowidjojo (NED) continues to dominate in the Women’s 50m Butterfly taking home another gold medal and becoming one of the top 3 most decorated athletes in short course.
4. At 18 years of age and World Champion, this is Sunwoo Hwang (KOR) taking the title in the Men’s 200m Freestyle.
5. Alessandro Miressi (ITA) won his first ever individual gold medal in a World Championship.
6. Dayia Seto (JPN) once more confirmed World Champion in both the 200m and 400m Individual Medley.
7. Sarah Sjostrom (SWE) absolutely dominating, taking home a total of 7 medals, 3 golds 3, silvers and 1 bronze.
8. Matteo Rivolta (ITA) surprised everyone by staying in front of the favourite Chad Le Clos (RSA) in the Men’s 100m Butterfly.
9. Qianting Tang (CHN) just 17 years of age taking gold and setting a new Asian Record of 1:03.47 in the Women’s 100m Breaststroke.
10. USA and RSF sharing the podium in the Men’s 4x50m Medley Relay setting a new Championships Record of 1:30.51.
