PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS

The submissions should be done via an online application tool.

Applications should be completed with all required information, including a technical sketch/ drawing of the submitted product.

REGULATIONS AND STANDARDS

All technical and approval-implementing rules can be found in the Competitions Regulations, Part One, Rule 6: Swimwear.

WETSUIT

You will find detailed information about the wetsuit's construction, coverage, and measurements in this specific document.

DELIVERY OF SAMPLES:

One sample per model (swimsuit, goggles, swim cap, wetsuit) and the application form, printed and duly signed by the applicant, shall be sent to World Aquatics.

In the case of the swimsuit, each fabric/material (min 1m2) shall also be included.

Note: any customs costs related to the shipment must be covered by the applicant.

CONTRIBUTION TO ADMINISTRATIVE AND EXPERT/TESTS COST

The contribution fees applicable to the submissions are as follows:

  • Application for each model of swimsuit / wetsuit: 1000 EUR
  • Application for each model of swim cap: 750 EUR
  • Application for each model of goggles: 750 EUR
  • For each fabric/material used in the construction of the submitted swimsuit: 375 EUR (for the same material used through different models, it will be calculated only once)
  • For each combination used in the construction of the submitted swimsuit: 475 EUR (for the same combination used through different models, it will be calculated only once)
  • Simplified Application for Goggles (rule 6.15.1): 375 EUR

Important: Payment of the calculated contribution is a condition for a valid application.
