World Aquatics will launch its 2026 Masters Education Programme with an online webinar on prehabilitation and shoulder health, offering practical guidance for participants in swimming, diving, water polo and artistic swimming.

Scheduled for 26 May 2026 at 12:00 CEST, the session will be delivered by Nadine Day, Chair of the World Aquatics Masters Committee. Named to the International Swimming Hall of Fame for her contributions to the masters aquatics community, Day brings a unique multidisciplinary perspective to the topic by combining her experience as a Masters swimmer and coach with her professional background as a physician in the United States.

Titled Pre-hab Shoulder Health, the webinar will explore how complementary training methods such as yoga and Pilates can support shoulder function, reduce injury risk, and enhance overall performance. The talk is grounded in practical, accessible approaches that can be integrated into regular training routines for athletes within the daily practicalities of Masters athletes.

Speaking ahead of the session, Day said: "Shoulder injuries are one of the most common challenges Masters participants face, and so much of that is preventable. I want to give swimmers, divers, water polo players and artistic swimmers real tools they can use straight away."
