IPACS is a global collaboration between sports organisations, governments and international bodies, working together to reduce the risk of corruption in sport. The partnership provides a platform for open dialogue and practical action, helping the global sporting community to share experiences, identify risks and develop effective solutions.

Through its participation, World Aquatics will contribute its knowledge and experience to the partnership, while gaining valuable insight from others working to protect integrity in sport.

Integrity in sport is central to the mission of World Aquatics, as aptly demonstrated by the existence of the Aquatics Integrity Unit (AQIU). This body works to ensure a fair and safe environment for all athletes - protecting their health, promoting clean competition and tackling all forms of misconduct.

Joining IPACS marks another important step in that mission, building stronger links between World Aquatics and the international integrity community.

“Integrity is the foundation of trust in sport,” said Husain Al Musallam, President of World Aquatics.

“To protect that trust, we must continue to collaborate on the global stage – sharing experiences, knowledge and best practice. IPACS provides a powerful platform to do exactly that. We are delighted to take this next step together, working to ensure that aquatics continues to represent and promote fairness, respect and trust around the world.”
