The survey is accessible through the “My Organisation” tab in your GMS account, and timely completion is essential.

The Governance Survey is an important instrument in promoting transparency, accountability and continuous improvement across the global aquatics community. It not only allows Member Federations to reflect on and strengthen their own governance practices, but also enables World Aquatics to monitor progress globally and uphold the highest standards of integrity in its sports.

Completion of the survey by the deadline is a mandatory requirement for applications to the 2026 World Aquatics Support Programme (AQUASP). In addition, Federations that achieve a higher score than in last year’s survey, or the maximum score of 20 points, will be eligible for an additional financial bonus to their AQUASP 2026 allocation.
