National and international media can now apply for accreditation to cover the World Aquatics Championships—Singapore 2025, as World Aquatics and the local event organisers have opened the application process.
Singapore will welcome the world’s best aquatic athletes to the 22nd edition of the World Aquatics Championships, which will take place from 11 July to 3 August 2025.
ACCREDITATION
We invite all media representatives wishing to cover the World Aquatics Championships – Singapore 2025 to submit their accreditation applications through the World Aquatics GMS Media Accreditation portal before 17 June 2025, 23:59 GMT.
The registration is for all members of the written press, photographic press, online media, and writers and photographers working for publications and/or websites of the World Aquatics National Member Federations.
The World Aquatics Communications Department will vet all international registrations submitted through the World Aquatics GMS. All domestic registrations will be subject to approval by the Singapore 2025 Organising Committee.
If you have attended a previous World Aquatics event, please use your existing World Aquatics GMS account. If you have any issues with registration, please contact gms@worldaquatics.com.
Accredited event media will collect and validate their cards onsite in Singapore.
A valid travel document containing a photo must be presented to receive media accreditation.
Note that broadcast accreditation is restricted to Rights Holding Broadcasters for the World Aquatics Championships, and there is a separate process to acquire broadcast accreditation—the media accreditation portal is only for press and photographers. For broadcasters seeking accreditation, please get in touch with World Aquatics Broadcasting at peter.hall@worldaquatics.com.
Only Rights Holding Broadcasters may record video material at World Aquatics events in any competition or training venue. Any breach of this restriction may result in accreditation being cancelled.
