The 2025 World Aquatics Diving World Cup will currently feature two marquee events, including the highly anticipated Super Final. Athletes will showcase their skills and build momentum for the World Aquatics Championships—Singapore 2025.

Current 2025 Diving World Cup Schedule

  • 10-13 April – Windsor, Canada
  • 2-4 May – Beijing, China (Super Final)

Canada’s Elite Divers Again Welcome the World

Canada kicks off the tour in Windsor, continuing its legacy as a premier diving destination. A lively city nestled along the Detroit River, the city will hold the events in the Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre. the venue of the 2024 Canadian Diving Trials.

Canada has a vibrant history in international diving circles, hosting 40 previous World Aquatics diving events, including nine Diving World Cups and the 2000 and 2022 editions of the World Aquatics Junior Diving Championships.

World junior champion and Diving World Cup medallist Kate Miller noted the importance of Canada holding a Diving World Cup event.

"Canada holds a special place in the hearts of divers. It’s always an honour to represent my country. I can’t wait to welcome back divers worldwide to share this incredible experience."

Beijing | Water Cube Waits for the Super Final Qualifying Athletes

Beijing, synonymous with diving excellence, will host the Super Final at the iconic Water Cube. A venue steeped in history, the Water Cube set the stage for record-breaking performances during the 2008 Olympic Games.

An aquatics hotbed, Beijing has frequently hosted the world’s best divers, holding ten editions of the Diving World Cup and two previous Diving Recognised Events, in addition to the Beijing 2008 Games. Earlier this year, World Aquatics announced Beijing as host to the World Aquatics Championships in 2029.

Count global diving superstar Cao Yuan among those eager to competed before the anticipated sell-out crowds when the Chinese capital holds the concluding competition to the 2025 Diving World Cup season.

“The Super Final is always an exciting event where we wrap everything we have worked for during the year,” said the four-time World Champion and four-time Olympic gold medallist with 48 career wins on the Diving World Cup circuit. “I’m honoured and proud that Beijing was selected as the Super Final host. Beijing will be buzzing with diving excitement. I hope we can make it a truly unforgettable competition. I know we will give them a great show!”

World Aquatics is in discussions with potential event hosts regarding an added World Cup stop that could take place in March 2025.

World Aquatics Diving Recognised Events Expand Opportunities for Divers in 2025

Alongside the 2025 Diving World Cup season, this year will see an expanded World Aquatics Diving Recognised Events calendar, offering athletes additional opportunities to compete globally. Confirmed events include:

  • 31 January – 2 February | Southern Cross Diving Series (New Zealand Leg), Auckland, New Zealand
  • 7-9 February | Southern Cross Diving Series (Australia Leg), Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia
  • 5-8 June | Canada Cup of Diving (Location TBD)
  • 12-15 June | American Cup, Morgantown, West Virginia, USA
  • 4-6 July | Bolzano Diving Meeting, Bolzano, Italy

These events provide valuable preparation and experience for divers aiming to excel on the world stage. More World Aquatics Diving Recognised Events are anticipated to be added to the 2025 calendar. For those interested hosts, the application form is here.

World Aquatics Diving Technical Committee Chair Bashar Al-Saffar highlighted the importance of the upcoming season.

These competitions will be a fantastic chance for our athletes to compete on the international stage, in preparation for the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore. Following a fantastic year for our sport, we are excited to bring athletes, fans, and new audiences to these world-class venues in 2025.”
