Singapore will host the flagship age group event for master-aged aquatics athletes in swimming, diving, water polo, artistic swimming, and open water swimming. Approximately 6,000 aquatics athletes from around 100 countries are expected to participate.

Singapore has demonstrated excellence in hosting top international-level sports events. This extensive major sports events experience includes holding World Cups in five aquatic sports and the World Aquatics Junior Swimming Championships. Singapore will also be home to the World Aquatics Swimming World Cup 2024 finals, which will take place from 31 October to 2 November 2024.

The World Masters Championships take place partly during the World Aquatics Championships – Singapore 2025 for elite athletes, which will run from 11 July to 3 August 2025.
