LAUSANNE (SUI) - With just less than a year to go, FINA has today revealed the qualification standards for the 42 swimming medal events of the 20th FINA World Championships in Fukuoka, Japan.
Set to take place from 14-30 July 2023, the 20th FINA World Championships expect to attract more than 2,000 top athletes from over 190 countries to compete at the showcase global aquatics event in world-class Fukuoka facilities and event management know-how.
The qualifying standards for swimmers for the 20th FINA World Championships in Fukuoka were created using the faster of two times – the qualifying “A” time standard for the 19th FINA World Championships Budapest 2022, and the 16th place finishing time from the preliminaries in Budapest.
