
BUDAPEST (Hungary) - The disqualification of Justin Ress (USA) in the Men’s 50m Backstroke Final at the 19th FINA World Championships was appealed by his National Federation. Following a review of the event, the appeal was upheld and Mr Ress was awarded the gold medal.
