We’re back with the second round of games of men's water polo contests with global significance in the European qualifying round of the FINA Water Polo World League.
Tamas Marcz - Hungary Head Coach
Commanding the pool deck for the Hungarian men's water polo team since 2017, Marcz knows what it takes to be a winning water polo player as he stood on the gold medal squad at the Sydney 2000 Olympics.
"I am very happy to be here, and to have another game in World League. I expect a hard game against the Montenegro team. Because they play very fast, they are in defense very good. I hope that many people will be in the pool and watch the game. Montenegrian people love water polo. We are ready, we have nothing to lose."
Vladimir Gojkovic - Montenegro Head Coach
A three-time Olympian, Gojkovic came into the coaching ranks also as a former elite player, helping Montenegro win European and FINA World Championship titles along with the silver medal at the Athens 2004 Olympics.
"This is a great opportunity to play one more game against Hungary. In Gyor we lost with 5 goals, and we will try now to play a better game. I hope that many people will watch the game, and maybe we can win in this game."
