Vladimir Morozov of Russia claimed victory again in the men's 100m IM and broke his own World Record (50.30) at the second leg of the FINA/airweave Swimming World Cup, held in Berlin (GER) on August 30-31 - a World Record (50.60) he had himself established a few days before in Paris-Chartres, the inaugural leg of the World Cup 2016.
Morozov, who also topped the 50 and 100m free, therefore continues leading the ranking with 175 points, in front of Chad Le Clos (RSA, 123) and Philip Heintz (GER, 102).
South Africa's Cameron van der Burgh and Chad Le Clos were both on the podium again. Van der Burgh took gold in the 50 and 100m breaststroke events, while Le Clos, 24, clinched victory in the 50, 100 and 200m fly.
James Guy (GBR) and Philip Heintz (GER) were the other athletes to shine in Berlin with two wins each (200/400m free for Guy and 200/400m IM for Heintz).
In the women's competition, Jeanette Ottensen won an incredible four races (50/100m free, 50/100m fly), while all other female winners claimed gold in one race only except Hungary's Katinka Hosszu who was the most successful swimmer in Berlin with seven golds (200/400m free, 100/200m back, 100/200/400 IM).
