
In a spectacular end to the FINA Men’s Water Polo World League Super Final in Ruza, Serbia won a historic fifth straight and 11th overall gold medal narrowly beating Italy in the final, 10-9. USA capped off an impressive campaign to deservedly be a part of the bronze game, but Croatian side was too strong and celebrated a comfortable victory, 10-4.
Play-offs for the 5 and 7 places both registered the same score, 11-4, as Russia edged Kazakhstan to book spot #5, and Australia defeated Japanese and landed on the 7th.
