About the programme

The World Aquatics Support Programme plays a key role in helping National Federations implement projects that enhance athlete training, education and participation in World Aquatics events. It also supports the administration of federations and the education of coaches and technical officials, contributing to the long-term growth of all six aquatic sports.

In 2024, the World Aquatics Support Programme distributed nearly USD 4.5 million to National Federations, funding 621 projects across 169 countries and benefiting over 395,000 athletes.
