Tickets are now available for the first-ever World Aquatics Championships to be held in the Middle East. The World Aquatics Championships – Doha 2024 will take place 100 days from now in the Qatar capital city from 2-18 February 2024.
DOHA, Qatar — Over 2,500 elite athletes hailing from 190+ nations, along with dignitaries and sporting enthusiasts worldwide, are set to converge in Qatar for the commencement of the premier event on the global aquatics calendar.
World Aquatics, in conjunction with the local organizing committee of the World Aquatics Championships – Doha 2024, has revealed plans for 75 medal events spanning six aquatic disciplines – swimming, diving, water polo, artistic swimming, open water swimming, and high diving – to unfold in the capital city of Qatar.
Tickets for the opening ceremony and competitive events are now available for purchase on the official Doha 2024 website.
Tickets will be exclusively accessible for online acquisition through the official ticketing portal on a first-come, first-served basis.
Three ticketing categories are on offer during the Doha 2024 sales period:
- Categories 1 and 2, as well as a Multi-Session Pass. Category 1 ranges from QAR 35 to QAR 200 (USD 10-80), affording prime seating within the venue
- Category 2 starts at QAR 20 (USD 5)
- The Multi-Session Pass is tailored for spectators keen on attending one or more sessions of a chosen sport within a single competition day, with prices starting at QAR 200 (USD 50). Each customer is eligible to purchase up to 10 tickets per session, per category
The Championships are slated to unfold across three key venues: The Aspire Dome, Hamad Aquatic Centre, and Old Doha Port.
The Opening Ceremony is scheduled for February 4th at the Aspire Dome, following the initial days of competition, which will witness the commencement of artistic swimming and diving at the Aspire Dome and Hamad Aquatic Centre, respectively.
