With a compact four-venue setup for the six aquatics sports mainly concentrated in the stunning downtown Fukuoka waterfront, the city looks to provide the pools, culture and vibrant backdrop as the event returns to the city for its 20th edition.

This week, the third phase of ticket sales started with international sports and entertainment fans able to now buy any ticket for any event in any seating section. But act fast, because the Japanese aquatics fans will be able to join in on the action on 16 April when these ticketing options open for the home market.
