On the final night, T & T's Joshua Romany upset the Martiniquan duo of Matthias Bellance and Samuel Lameynardie. Romany, the youngest swimmer in the 15-17 male 50m freestyle final, used lane one and sneaked up on the competition and touched the wall in 23.93. Bellance (24.07) and Lameynardie (24.10) placed 2nd and 3rd respectively. Romany's teammate Jonathan Cabral placed fifth in 24.43.
Girls 13-14 4 x 50m freestyle relay silver medal winners Syriah David, Kristin Julien, Bryanna Duncan and Chadae Thompson
Kristin Julien also splashed to gold in the 13-14 female 50m freestyle. Julien shared the top of medal rostrum with Barbadian Zabrina Holder as they both touched the wall in 28.12 seconds. Chadae Thompson placed 8th in the event in 29.39. In his CARIFTA debut and the last individual event of the meet, Jonathan Gillette scored gold in th 15-17 male 200m backstroke. Gillette touched the wall in 2:14.31, just ahead of Guadeloupe's Joris Bouchaut (2:14.64) and T & T's Stefan Sharpe (2:14.98).
In the 4 x 50m freestyle relays, T & T won three silver medals. The 13-14 female team of Chadae Thompson, Syriah David, Bryanna Duncan and Kristin Julien, ran the dominant Barbados lasses to the wire. Barbados however pipped T & T as they stopped the clock at 1:54.02 to T & T's 1:54.69. Despite missing the services of Dylan Carter, the 13-14 male quartet of Christopher Greene, Jabari Baptiste, Jeron O'Brien and Johnathan Gonzales placed 2nd in 1:45.49, behind the team from Jamaica (1:43.43).
The 15-17 male team of Jonathan Cabral, Sean Roget, Kareem Baptiste and Joshua Romany stopped the clock on 1:39.13 to win T & T's final relay silver. In the 50m freestyle, 13-14 male Jabari Baptiste won bronze in 25.90 seconds. Baptiste also won silver in the 200m backstroke in 2:22.02. Jeron O'Brien won bronze in the 100m breaststroke in 1:11.25.
